How to decorate “strawberries dipped in chocolate” cookies

  1. Prepare a batch Chocolate Cutout Sugar Cookies and let cool completely before decorating.
  2. Prepare royal icing according to previously mentioned consistencies and colours and fill pastry bags equipped with appropriate tips.
  3. Cover the top half of the strawberry shape with red icing filler and let dry for 30 minutes before moving on to the next step.
  4. Trace the bottom half of the strawberry shape with brown icing filler. Draw leaves with green detail icing.



  5. Draw seeds with white detail icing and pull icing toward the bottom with a pastry needle. Give the “chocolate” volume with brown detail icing. Let dry completely before handling the cookies.

  • To save some time, let cookies dry in front of a fan.
