- Prepare a batch of Chocolate Cutout Sugar Cookies and let cool completely before decorating.
- Prepare royal icing according to consistencies and colours mentioned above and fill pastry bags equipped with appropriate tips.
- Cover half a cookie with brown filler icing and the other half with pink filler icing. Even top with a pastry needle.


- Create a dot pattern alternating between the red and white filler. With the pastry needle, trace hearts alongside the cookie’s edge. Let dry few hours before moving on to the next step.

- Trace 6 even squares over the brown half to create individual pieces of chocolate with brown filler.

- Complete by drawing the wrapper with white detailing icing. Let dry completely before handling the cookies.
