Banana-Peach Earl Grey Smoothie

In a small saucepan, combine water and the Redpath Simply Raw™ Turbinado Sugar. Place on stove on medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and transfer the sugar-water into a measuring cup.

Drop two Earl Grey tea bags into the hot water. Cover and steep for 5 minutes; do not steep the tea longer than the allotted time as it will impart a bitter taste to the smoothie.

Remove tea bags, gently pressing down on them to extract as much liquid and flavour as possible. Discard tea bags and allow tea to cool to room temperature.
Open the third tea bag and empty the tea leaves into the cooled tea. Place the tea into the fridge to chill completely; 20 minutes.
In a blender, place the peaches, frozen sliced bananas, cold Earl Grey tea, and Greek yogurt. Pulse a few times to combine the ingredients. Blend on high until smoothie is completely mixed.

Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
