We took a Santa’s sackful of Yuletide tastes and mixed them all into one of the most stunning cakes you’ll ever see. And guess what? It’s not hard to make! Our step-by-step instructions explain how to make an eggnog cake and a cocoa cake, spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon, and then nestle them inside one another to create the stunning checkerboard pattern in every slice. Use our Golden Yellow Sugar for the perfect colour in the eggnog cake, and to let the cocoa and dash of espresso shine.

Holiday Cranberry Cranachan

Our Scottish roots are showing with this favourite dessert from the “auld country!” We’ve given ours a winter holiday twist with cranberries instead of traditional raspberries. What’s not missing is the sigh-inducing taste of honey, orange zest, and whisky swirled into whipped cream and sprinkled with oats. We added our Dark Brown Sugar to the cranberry sauce and the oats for a rich, luscious finish. It’s a show-stopper for any December occasion or the crowning glory of your Burns’ Night celebration on January 25.
